Job summary

Qualifications

  • Nine years of construction operations experience OR a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field with five years of progressing supervisory construction experience.
  • CPR/First Aid certifications and OSHA 30-hour.
  • Proficiency with computer-based scheduling software, spreadsheet applications, project management software, and virtual construction software.
  • Knowledge and understanding of sustainable construction (LEED).
  • Ability to manage a team and lead a project to a successful outcome.

Responsibilities

  • Leads field meetings with internal and external stakeholders to align goals, timelines, and issues.
  • Partners with project management to define responsibilities, delegate tasks, and develop the team.
  • Creates and enforces quality control processes and manages risks to meet milestones.
  • Implements and enforces EHS policies, coordinates inspections, and mitigates safety risks.
  • Manages project documentation, schedules, RFIs, drawings, and closeout deliverables.
  • Develops site safety plans and ensures adherence by all trades and partners.
  • Maintains positive relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants.

Position includes direct supervision of junior staff, foreman, trade partners and other construction related personnel in planning, coordination and execution of work on time along with direct coordination with clients, design team members, third party consultants, etc. Position leads in the establishment of the project parameters as it relates to onsite work while maintaining a safe workplace, enforcing quality control, enhancing client relationships and promoting the company image.## **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*** Nine (9) years of construction operations experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field and five (5) years of progressing supervisory construction experience* Certifications for CPR / First Aid and OSHA 30-hour* Proficiency with computer-based scheduling software, spreadsheet applications, project management software, and virtual construction software* Knowledge and understanding of sustainable construction (ex.
