Renewyx LLC is seeking a Superintendent for a major K-12 project in Redding, CA. You will take full command of site operations across two buildings, oversee subcontractor performance, and ensure schedule, quality, and safety compliance on an active campus.

Ideal candidates have strong framing knowledge and a proven track record on occupied sites, with a degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required. Relocation support may be considered for the right fit.

Renewyx have partnered with a well-regarded Northern California general contractor to recruit a Superintendent for a significant K-12 project in Redding, CA.

This is a $20M, two-building education programme requiring a field leader who can operate independently, manage a complex active-site environment, and bring the kind of structural and framing expertise that keeps a project of this scale on programme.

The role:

You will take full command of site operations across both buildings — overseeing subcontractor performance, enforcing schedule and quality standards, managing safety compliance on an active campus, and serving as the senior field presence for the duration of the project. The contractor needs someone who does not need to be managed. They need someone who manages.

What they are looking for:

• Experienced Superintendent with a background in commercial ground-up construction — K-12 or education sector experience highly regarded
• Demonstrated ability to lead site operations independently, without reliance on daily oversight
• Strong framing knowledge — structural sequencing, envelope coordination, and associated trades
• Proven track record on active or occupied sites, with a thorough understanding of phasing and safety protocols
• The interpersonal authority to hold subs accountable and maintain a productive, professional site culture
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, not required

The package:

• $160,000–$185,000 base salary + competitive benefits package
