Job summary

Lithko Contracting in Raleigh, NC seeks a Superintendent to lead the execution phase of commercial concrete projects. You will develop a project plan, coordinate with the operations team, and ensure resources are staged for efficiency.

Requires 5+ years of progressive project execution experience in concrete, self-perform capability, strong organizational and communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• 5+ years of progressive project execution experience for a large-scale GC or concrete contractor.
• Self-perform concrete experience is required.
• Preference for experience on commercial/industrial projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project plan for the phase of work.
• Identify obstacles and opportunities for the phase of work.
• Prepare team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensure team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
• Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign-in/out sheets.
• Ensure project execution goals are met for the portion of work.
• Communicate project status to all appropriate parties.

Job Description Superintendent - Commercial ConcreteLithko Contracting is seeking a Superintendent to join the team in Raleigh, NC. As a Superintendent, you'll be responsible for planning the execution phase of the project. You'll work closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing a project plan for their phase of work.
• Understands project information and is able to identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
• Prepares their team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensures their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
• Utilizes and tracks time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
• Responsible for ensuring project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
• Communicates project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• Seeking someone with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• In depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.
• Knows how to lead people and drive results for the overall project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering strongly preferred.
