Job summary

Lithko Contracting is seeking a Superintendent to plan and oversee project execution from Nashville, TN. You will collaborate with the operations team to craft a comprehensive project plan and ensure readiness of crews, equipment, and materials for a successful phase delivery.

The role requires self-perform concrete experience, strong leadership, and proven ability to drive project outcomes across commercial/industrial builds. Bachelor’s degree preferred; strong MS Office skills expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for large-scale construction.
• Self-perform concrete experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project plan for their phase of work.
• Identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase.
• Prepare team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensure equipment, materials, and workstations are ready for output.
• Utilize time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign-in/out sheets.

The Role

As a Superintendent at Lithko Contracting, you'll be responsible for planning the execution phase of the project. You'll work closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing a project plan for their phase of work.
• Understands project information and is able to identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
• Prepares their team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensures their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
• Utilizes and tracks time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
• Responsible for ensuring project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
• Communicates project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• Seeking someone with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• In depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.
• Knows how to lead people and drive results for the overall project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering strongly preferred.
