Job summary

Lithko Contracting seeks a Superintendent to join our Greenville, SC team to lead the execution phase of commercial concrete projects. You will work with the operations group to craft an overall project plan and ensure it is carried out safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, 5+ years of concrete project execution experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project execution experience on a large-scale self-perform GC or concrete contractor.
• Self-perform concrete experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project plan for their phase of work.
• Identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase.
• Prepare team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensure equipment, materials, and workstations are staged for optimum output.
• Track timesheets, delivery tickets, and sign-in/out sheets.
• Communicate project status to all stakeholders in a timely, accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing a project plan for their phase of work.
• Understands project information and is able to identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
• Prepares their team to execute using defined planning processes.
• Ensures their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
• Utilizes and tracks time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
• Responsible for ensuring project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
• Communicates project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.

Requirements And Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• Seeking someone with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• In depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.
• Knows how to lead people and drive results for the overall project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering strongly preferred.
