Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking a Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial projects in North Carolina. This role requires a proven field leader who can manage complex projects from start to finish and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.

You will oversee site operations, coordinate with owners and trade partners, uphold safety standards, schedules, and quality, and drive milestone completion on large-scale developments ($30M+).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial general contracting.
• Ground-up commercial construction experience required.
• Experience managing large-scale commercial projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily field operations and site activities
• Manage subcontractors, site logistics, and construction sequencing
• Maintain project schedules, safety standards, and quality control
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, manpower, and field coordination
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and company standards
• Identify and resolve field conflicts in collaboration with project teams and trade partners
• Lead jobsite safety initiatives and maintain an organized, productive work environment
• Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, architects, and subcontractors
• Drive schedule performance and ensure milestone completion
