Job summary

Stevens Construction Corp. in Milwaukee is seeking a Project Superintendent for commercial new construction in the Greater Milwaukee Area. This full-time, year-round role leads all field construction activities to meet design, budget, and schedule.

You will supervise on-site crews and subcontractors, maintain logs and plans, drive safety, and coordinate punch lists with owners and architects. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and project

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience as a commercial new construction Project Superintendent from a general contractor or construction management firm
• Multiple multi-unit, new construction projects from start to finish as the overall jobsite Superintendent
• Ability to read, interpret, and edit construction schematics and documents electronically
• Proficiency within Microsoft Suites and other project scheduling software
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing/walking for long periods, uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Supervises all Stevens Construction personnel and subcontractors onsite to ensure work is completed accurately, safely and to quality standards
• Develops, updates and tracks performance of construction schedule
• Maintains all jobsite paperwork: daily log, delivery tickets, field work orders, timecards, plans, specs and shop drawings, purchase orders, subcontracts, and project photos
• Manages and schedules punch list work with owner, architect, and subcontractors
• Enforces all jobsite safety requirements
• Creates a positive, professional environment onsite
• Maintains a clean and orderly jobsite

Stevens Construction Corp. is a commercial general contractor with self-performed trades of concrete, carpentry, and prefabricated walls; building new construction, multi-unit and mixed-use buildings. This Project Superintendent position is a full-time, year-round opportunity for construction projects in the Greater Milwaukee Area.
