Job summary

Stevens Construction Corp. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field construction activities in North East Wisconsin.

You will assist the Project Superintendent in supervising Stevens personnel and subcontractors, helping develop and track the project schedule, and ensuring safety and quality on site. The role requires 3+ years as a Foreman or Superintendent in new construction and proficiency with construction plans, schematics, and CM software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as Foreman or Superintendent in new construction (residential or commercial).
• Ability to read, interpret, and edit construction schematics and documents.
• Experience using construction management software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Superintendent with supervision of all personnel and subcontractors onsite to ensure work is safe, accurate and high quality.
• Assist with developing, updating, and tracking the construction schedule.
• Maintain all jobsite paperwork: daily logs, tickets, field orders, timecards, plans, specs and shop drawings, purchase orders and photos.
• Assist with forecasting crew sizes to complete self-performed work within estimated manhours.
• Coordinate punch list work with owner, architect and subcontractors.
• Enforce all jobsite safety requirements.
• Create a positive, professional environment onsite and maintain a clean, orderly site.

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for assisting in all construction efforts in the field to ensure project is safely constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.

Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience as a Foreman or Superintendent within new construction (residential or commercial)
• Ability to read, interpret, and edit construction schematics and documents
• Ability to use construction management software, scheduling tools, and digital plan sets
