Job summary

Talently is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations for complex commercial, institutional, and renovation projects in Jacksonville, FL. You will guide subcontractors and self-performed teams, ensuring safe, high-quality work that meets schedule commitments.

Responsibilities include driving two-week look-ahead planning, coordinating inspections, maintaining documentation, and managing scope changes within budget. Strong English communication and OSHA/CPR credentials are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years progressively supervising construction projects in fast-paced environments.
• At least 2 years of construction industry experience, preferably commercial/industrial.
• Knowledge of construction means/methods for commercial construction and renovations.
• Ability to lead subcontractors and manage a small self-performed workforce.
• Understanding of plans, specs, contracts, PO numbers, and scope.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, field reporting, scheduling tools, and CM software.
• Current OSHA certification and CPR/Life Safety credentials; CQM-C certification or ability to obtain.

• Lead project meetings, maintain daily field documentation, and communicate progress with internal teams and project partners.
• Manage scope changes, punch lists, closeout activities, supporting staff, and project work within established budgets.

Must-Have Skills:
