Just Construction Recruitment is representing a leading Southeast multifamily developer and GC recruiting an experienced Superintendent to lead a 266-unit ground-up project in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Reporting to the Lead Superintendent, you’ll oversee site operations, coordinate MEP trades, ensure safety, manage schedules, and drive quality from framing through interior close-in.

Procore experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily, commercial, or large-scale residential projects.
• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating MEP trades and maintaining schedules.
• Procore or similar construction management software proficiency.
• Proactive, solution-focused with strong leadership and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across assigned buildings.
• Coordinate MEP trades and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Monitor schedules, manage inspections, and document progress with Procore.
• Ensure work aligns with drawings and specs; drive subcontractor performance.

An Exciting Opportunity with a Leading Multifamily Developer & General Contractor. I'm currently representing a well-established, vertically integrated developer and general contractor that is continuing to expand its footprint across the Southeast. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Superintendent to join the team delivering a 266-unit ground-up multifamily community in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. About the Role

The Opportunity. Reporting to the Lead Superintendent, you'll be responsible for overseeing key phases of construction, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You'll coordinate subcontractors, manage daily site operations, and play a critical role in driving project success from framing through to interior close-in.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across assigned buildings.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) trades throughout construction.
• Oversee inspections, open-wall activities, insulation and interior progress.
• Drive subcontractor performance, productivity and accountability.
• Ensure all work complies with project drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor project schedules, identify risks and implement solutions to maintain programme milestones.
• Conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate project documentation using Procore.
• Champion a strong safety culture while ensuring OSHA compliance across site.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and site leadership team to ensure seamless project delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience as a Superintendent delivering ground-up multifamily, commercial or large-scale residential projects.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of wood-frame multifamily construction.
• Experience coordinating MEP trades, inspections and project sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain construction schedules.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience using Procore or similar construction management software is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to quality and safety.
