• Manage trade partners, maintain schedule, ensure site safety and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with project team on look-aheads, RFIs, inspections and quality control.

Title: Superintendent, High-Rise (Demolition through Vertical Construction)

Company line: Hiring for a confidential general contractor

Location: Miami, Florida (on-site) (options to work in West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale as well)

Type: Full-time, direct hire with the General Contractor

A confidential general contractor is adding Superintendents for a high-rise tower in Miami. You will come in early to run the demolition scope before the project goes live, then stay on as the building goes vertical. This is a long-term project, and we want people who will be there through the structure, not just the start.

What you will do

• Run site demolition: sequencing, subcontractors, safety, neighbor and city coordination, and handoff to new construction
• Move into vertical construction on the tower: structure, hoisting and crane logistics, floor-by-floor sequencing
• Lead trade partners, hold the schedule, and keep the site safe and clean
• Work with the project team on look-aheads, RFIs, inspections and quality control

What we are looking for

• Ground-up high-rise superintendent experience (tower or comparable multi-story concrete or steel)
• Demolition or sitework experience is a strong plus
• Already living in the Miami metro, or willing to relocate and live there for the length of the project
• OSHA 30; a track record of running safe, on-schedule sites
