Senior Superintendent – Multifamily Construction

Miami, FL | $200,000+ Base + Bonus + Vehicle Allowance + Benefits

We’re working with a highly regarded General Contractor in Miami that is looking to add an experienced Senior Superintendent to its South Florida team.

This is a senior field leadership opportunity working on large-scale multifamily projects across Miami and South Florida, with a base salary that can exceed $200,000 for the right person, plus bonus, vehicle allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.

The company has a strong pipeline of upcoming work and is looking for someone who can take complete ownership of major projects in the field from mobilization through final turnover.

The Role

As Senior Superintendent, you’ll be the lead field person on major multifamily projects, responsible for all day-to-day construction operations and the successful delivery of the project.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading large-scale multifamily projects from mobilization through completion
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors across all trades
• Managing Assistant Superintendents and wider field teams
• Developing and maintaining project schedules and short-term lookaheads
• Driving sequencing, production and key project milestones
• Managing site logistics and manpower
• Coordinating structural, architectural and MEP trades
• Maintaining high standards of safety and quality
• Coordinating inspections and working with local AHJs
• Reviewing drawings and identifying constructability issues
• Working closely with Project Managers, owners, architects and engineers
• Leading subcontractor and field coordination meetings
• Managing punch, closeout and final turnover
• Identifying issues early and driving solutions in the field

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Superintendent or Lead Superintendent with a strong background working for a General Contractor and a proven track record delivering substantial multifamily projects.

You should be comfortable being the senior person in the field and taking full ownership of a major project.

Ground-up multifamily experience is essential, with experience delivering large mid-rise or high-rise developments particularly attractive.

South Florida construction experience would be highly desirable, although relocation will be considered for the right person.
