NOVO Construction, Inc., a boutique general contractor, seeks a Superintendent to lead field operations on a Dallas project. The role reports to the Site Project Management team and is based at the project site, ensuring safety and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidate has commercial GC superintendent experience, reads drawings, uses Plangrid, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction from Senior Management.

• Experience in interior tenant improvements or ground up.

NOVO Construction, Inc., a General Contractor is seeking a professional individual with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to work as a Superintendent in Dallas, TX.

The Superintendent will be based at the project site working directly with the Site Project Management team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Take part in precon
• Responsible for safety
• Manage field operations
• Build and maintain construction schedule
• Attend weekly OAC meetings
• Attend site/foreman meetings

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• Familiarity with construction process and technology required to build in this day and age
• Strong communication skills onsite and with client/architect/landlord
• Loves to build stuff
• Experience in interior tenant improvements or ground up

Education/Experience/Qualifications

• Has qualified and relevant experience as a superintendent for a commercial general contractor for a few years
• Completion of OSHA 30 is desired (willing to assist with certification if hired)
• Able to operate in a fast paced working environment with minimal direction from Senior Management
• Able to effectively email, build schedules, read drawings & use platforms such as Plangrid
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physical Demands: The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
