Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Superintendent with a strong background in heavy civil construction to join our Cleveland team. You will oversee complex projects, manage subcontractors, ensure quality and safety, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of construction management experience, reads blueprints, and uses project management software to monitor progress. Competitive benefits and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or related field.
• Experience with excavating, demolition, paving, concrete, highways, roadways, etc.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure work aligns with plans and specifications.
• Implement and monitor quality control programs to meet or exceed client expectations.
• Develop and implement safety programs to maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage project risks with identification, analysis, and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust as needed to keep projects on track and within scope.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and team members.
• Resolve issues or disputes promptly during construction.
