Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a General Contractor with strong commercial construction experience to oversee daily site operations in Cleveland. You will manage schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and lead site teams to deliver projects on time while enforcing strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires strong commercial construction experience and a proven track record delivering projects on time.
• Demonstrates knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site safety standards.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, read drawings/specs, and lead teams.
• Experience with construction scheduling software and strong leadership/communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure work proceeds safely and efficiently.
• Manage project schedules, deadlines, and coordination of subcontractors and site teams.
• Coordinate with project managers and design teams to align on scope and execution.
• Enforce health and safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor progress against milestones and adjust plans to address delays or issues.
• Lead inspections, handovers, and ensure quality workmanship across trades.
• Maintain site logistics and material deliveries to support schedule.
• Resolve site issues promptly to minimize disruption and maximize throughput.
