Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Superintendent for heavy civil projects in the United States. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of construction management experience on large-scale projects, with a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget.

A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred, along with strong knowledge of OSHA safety protocols and reading blueprints.

• Conduct site inspections for safety and quality compliance.
• Manage project risks, including identification, analysis, and mitigation.
• Monitor progress and adjust to stay on scope.
• Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and team members.
• Resolve issues or disputes promptly during construction.

Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent with a strong background in the heavy civil construction industry to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to our organization’s success and requires a professional who can manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of managing complex construction projects successfully.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience with excavating, demolition, paving, concrete, highways, roadways, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Proficient in project management software and technology.
• Certification in construction safety or project management is a plus.
