Job summary

Wolf Creek Contracting in the eastern United States is seeking a skilled Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects.

You will supervise crews, enforce safety policies, read plans and schedules, document progress, and coordinate with project teams to meet timelines and quality standards. Experience in government contracting and concrete construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; AS degree in Construction Management is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience in concrete or construction.
• No less than 3 years of responsibility supervising construction.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in government contracting.
• A demonstrated understanding of construction means and methods associated with the renovation and construction of commercial and institutional buildings and site work related.
• OSHA 10 and 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crew and prioritizes work.
• Monitor crew work for quality.
• Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
• Conducts regular safety meetings.
• Fulfills all regular and advanced project duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframe.
• Enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
• Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
• Submits crewmembers’ timesheets into payroll by deadline.

Services we provide include general contracting, design-build, construction management, concrete, civil, industrial, new construction, additions and renovations, and streetscapes.

Primary Purpose

The Superintendent provides the knowledge, skills, and experience required to manage the day-to-day field operations of commercial construction projects that Wolf Creek Contracting undertakes.
