Job summary

Wolf Creek Contracting is seeking a concrete finisher to grade, prep, form and finish slabs on grade, walls, and footings. Great benefits and wages are offered in a hands-on construction environment.

The role involves setting forms, pouring concrete, finishing surfaces, and supervising laborers on site. Experience with power tools and broom finishing is preferred, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience finishing slabs to grade and finish
• Ability to set forms and ensure proper alignment
• Familiarity with curing, brooming, and texture completion

Responsibilities

• Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them
• Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete using hand or power tools
• Direct the casting of the concrete and supervise laborers
• Produce rough concrete surface using broom
• Signal truck driver to position and direct concrete flow

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To grade, prep, form and finish slabs on grade, walls, and footing.

ROUTINE DUTIES:

• Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and align them
• Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed
• Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float
• Direct the casting of the concrete and supervise laborers who use shovels or special tools to spread it
• Produce rough concrete surface, using broom
• Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete, and move chute to direct concrete on forms
