HC Company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to manage commercial construction projects with precision, accountability, and innovation. If you have a strong background in field supervision, project execution, and site leadership, we’d love to have you on our team.

This role will lead on-site activities, supervise subcontractors, and ensure safety, QA/QC, and schedule adherence across projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and field crews to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 6+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of safety practices and QA/QC standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities while upholding HC Company’s standards of quality and integrity.
• Supervise daily field operations, subcontractors, and labor to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Ensure QA/QC by verifying all installations and materials meet project specifications.
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, communicating progress with all stakeholders.
• Oversee site planning, layout, staging, and phasing for maximum efficiency.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting training and site audits.
• Coordinate material deliveries, subcontractor activities, and owner-supplied equipment to prevent delays.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, PCOs, and as-built drawings.
• Conduct site meetings and collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure smooth execution.
• Actively contribute to the Safety Committee and help refine companywide safety processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
• 6+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent in commercial construction
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of ADA accessibility, jurisdictional compliance, and construction best practices
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams
• Proven experience in site layout, trade coordination, and construction technology
