Job summary

Kennedy Richter Construction is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to own field execution on active projects. You will coordinate subs, crews, and clients, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality from mobilization through completion.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years leading construction projects, with experience in BE and waterproofing, blueprints, and Procore. Travel to multiple sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of construction experience.
• 3+ years leading projects as Superintendent or Foreman.
• 5+ years field experience with BE & waterproofing.
• Experience managing commercial or residential construction projects.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and specifications.
• Familiarity with Procore and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Review startup packages, plans, specifications, and submittals before mobilization.
• Identify scope gaps, coordination issues, and constructability challenges early.
• Ensure the field team fully understands project requirements before work begins.
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and milestone schedules.
• Lead subcontractor coordination and maintain momentum on the jobsite.
• Identify and resolve delays quickly to keep project on track.
• Direct subcontractors, trades, and field crew to ensure productivity and accountability.
• Run effective subcontractor meetings and coordinate upcoming work.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
• Identify jobsite issues early and implement solutions quickly.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to address technical, logistical, or material challenges.
• Enforce safety standards and OSHA requirements.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and safety meetings.
• Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality expectations.
• Track daily progress, manpower, inspections, and site activity.
• Document project changes, safety reports, and field conditions.
• Maintain clear and accurate jobsite records.
