Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our client in Arlington, TX. This role oversees day-to-day operations on commercial construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating subcontractors and field teams.

Ideal candidates will lead ground-up projects, maintain site safety, review drawings, and report progress to clients and internal stakeholders. This is a full-time, direct-hire position based on-site in Arlington, TX.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in commercial construction.
• Experience leading ground-up commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction site operations from kickoff to completion.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays or risks.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join one of our clients in Arlington, TX. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining job site safety, and communicating project progress with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction site operations from project kickoff through completion
• Ensure all safety, quality, and compliance standards are consistently met
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays or risks
• Communicate project milestones, updates, and challenges to clients and project teams
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications
• Maintain an organized and efficient construction site environment
• Review construction drawings and documents to ensure proper execution of work
• Resolve field issues and collaborate with project managers to keep projects on track
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards across all job site activities

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in commercial construction
• Experience managing ground-up construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and industry standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on-site
• Ability to maintain project schedules and support timely project delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software
• Experience working on commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or mixed-use construction projects
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
