Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking an AM Cook for The Joule in Dallas,TX. The role focuses on preparing all food items to standard recipes for Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets, while maintaining sanitation and safety. The position supports various kitchen stations and ensures timely service.

Ideal candidates have culinary experience, are able to work long hours, and can handle hot and cold kitchen environments with knowledge of proper handling and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel experience preferred.
• Culinary experience required.
• Flexible hours, long shifts may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Stand for the duration of the shift and be proficient with kitchen safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Complete necessary food and station preparation prior to opening to serve guests promptly.
• Prepare and display buffet food items to hotel standards.
• Follow Health Department and company regulations for safety and storage.
• Be able to support any position in the kitchen as needed.
