Job summary

Hyatt Place Provo is seeking a friendly part-time Breakfast Attendant to prepare and replenish the breakfast buffet, greet guests warmly, and keep dining areas neat and inviting. You will follow predetermined recipes, present items to brand standards, restock condiments, supervise cleanliness, and assist with inventory as needed.

The role requires weekend, day, and holiday availability. This position offers hands-on experience in a hospitality environment and teamwork with a supportive hotel

Qualifications

• Food handler’s permit required.
• Prior experience as a server in a restaurant, café, or hotel environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability and willingness to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends, days, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, warmly, and courteously.
• Prepare all breakfast items according to instructions, ensuring proper sanitation methods are used.
• Restock and clean condiment areas, empty trash and recycling as needed.
• Bus/clear tables in dining area to keep a clean and inviting environment.
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions and reporting maintenance issues.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering as requested by management.
