Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Breakfast Attendant for the Holiday Inn Express in Springfield, IL. This part-time role supports breakfast service with a friendly, guest-focused approach.

You will set up and maintain the breakfast area, prepare items, and assist with inventory and restocking while ensuring compliance with safety standards. The position requires flexible hours and a willingness to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Good personality and positive interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Restaurant experience (1 year preferred).
• Exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests during breakfast service.
• Set up and maintain the breakfast area according to brand standards.
• Take inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day.
• Assist in ordering or purchasing food supplies.
• Prepare foods such as fresh fruit, hot food, coffee, and juices from concentrates.
• Set up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products.
• Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
• Wipe up spills and restock items continuously.
• Wash serving equipment and return to storage.
• Keep breakfast area clean and inviting for guests.
