Job summary

Sunglass Hut in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking an Assistant Manager II to join our store leadership team. You will oversee daily operations, coach sales associates, manage merchandising, and drive retail excellence on the sales floor.

Collaborate with the Store Manager to recruit talent, develop individuals through coaching, and execute brand standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in store operations
• Demonstrates expertise in every aspect of store operation
• Detail-oriented
• Uses critical thinking to deliver execution of operational components of the store

Responsibilities

• Delivers sales plan, develops associates and achieves company objectives.
• Uses reporting tools and business acumen to identify performance gaps and capitalize on successes.
• Provides ongoing coaching for all associates to support growth and development.
• Acquires talent by networking and interviewing in partnership with the Store/Multi Store Manager.
• Maintains clear communication of brand strategy, promotions and incentives to the team.
