Job summary

Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization seeks a SUN Site Manager for Russell Elementary School in Portland, OR. The role leads after-school and community school programming, coordinates partner services, and oversees staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a relevant role.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Strong flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff and families to survey needs and design SUN programming.
• Integrate SUN activities into the School Improvement Plan to support student achievement.
• Develop strategies in line with Multnomah County SUN CS requirements and funders.
• Prepare program reports and data entry for SUN and related programs.
• Lead SUN Leadership Team and coordinate family engagement activities.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; hire staffing with IRCO HR support.
