Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a talented 2027 Summer intern to join the Yield Engineering team.

The role focuses on reviewing deposition of production and engineering lots, developing yield Pareto analyses, and supporting continuous yield improvement at the Newbury Park wafer fab, May–August 2026. Responsibilities include automating yield report generation for daily to quarterly reports and assisting with GaAs HBT yield projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BS or MS program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related technical field
• Must be able to work onsite up to 3 months (May to August 2026)
• Software development knowledge
• Generation of Excel macros
• Generation of clear code that can be followed by other engineers

Responsibilities

• This individual will work on automation of yield report generation for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• There will be other opportunities to help with yield improvement projects for the GaAs HBT processes for the Newbury Park wafer fab.
