Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group is hosting a summer journalism internship in Arlington, VA. You will perform hands-on videojournalism work on deadline, produce portfolio-ready videos, and receive coaching from a dedicated mentor.

You will pair with reporters and editors, pitch and research stories, and have access to summer housing during the program. Participation includes charitable activities and engagement with industry leaders.

Qualifications

• Videos you have shot, written, and produced.
• Ability to pitch, research, and write scripts.
• Desire to interview industry leaders and policymakers.
• Willingness to collaborate with reporters and editors.
• At start of Summer 2027, be in an undergraduate program for at least three years or enrolled in graduate journalism.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work experience on deadline as a team member with portfolio-worthy videos.
• Learn urgency and accuracy required in a modern newsroom.
• Receive feedback and coaching from a mentor.
• Engage with senior Bloomberg Industry Group leaders and experts.
• Enjoy summer housing provided by local universities.
• Participate in charitable activities.
