Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group in Arlington, TX offers a summer program for aspiring journalists focusing on general assignment and beat reporting under supervision. You will research and write news stories and features for assigned publication(s), with deadlines and mentorship.

At the start of Summer 2027, you should be an undergraduate senior, recent graduate, or enrolled in a graduate journalism program. Housing is provided, and you will participate in charitable activities along with the team.

Qualifications

• Three published news clips (not submitted with application).
• Ability to pitch and write breaking and enterprise stories.
• Desire to interview industry leaders and policymakers.
• Willingness to collaborate with reporters and editors.

Responsibilities

• Perform real work on deadline as a team member with a portfolio of clips.
• Learn urgency and accuracy in a modern newsroom.
• Receive feedback and coaching from a mentor.
• Engage with senior leaders and experts at Bloomberg Industry Group.
• Summer housing available through local universities.
