Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Underwriter Intern for summer 2026. The position involves learning insurance coverages, analyzing risks, and communicating with agents and staff in a structured training environment.

Qualifications

• Students must be enrolled and entering junior or senior year.
• Ability to organize data, multi-task and decide independently.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with company policies, manuals, forms and endorsements.
• Analyze loss experience, financial conditions and risk characteristics.
• Acquire working knowledge of supporting sections of underwriting.
• Communicate effectively with independent agents and employees.
