Job summary

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking an entry level motivated individual to join our Underwriting team for the summer of 2027. This internship provides exposure to insurance coverages, contracts, and underwriting decisions while learning company policies, manuals, forms and endorsements.

You will analyze loss experience and risk characteristics, gain a working knowledge of underwriting support areas, and communicate effectively with independent agents and other employees.

Qualifications

• Enrolled college student entering junior or senior year.
• Able to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Interest in developing product knowledge through educational programs.
