Job summary

Ardurra in Orlando, FL is seeking a Transportation Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will assist on a broad range of transportation projects, gaining exposure to real-world civil engineering work and building technical skills.

Responsibilities include design and analysis of roadways and drainage, preparing drawings and reports, conducting field data collection, and supporting cost estimates and permitting efforts.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
• Familiarity with Bentley or Autodesk software is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of transportation infrastructure.
• Prepare drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Conduct transportation design, calculations, and take-offs.
• Perform field investigations and data collection.
• Coordinate cost estimates and vendor quotes.
• Support permitting, regulatory documentation, and scheduling.
• Review drawings for accuracy and standards compliance.
• Utilize engineering software and MS Office tools.
• Take on additional duties to support the team.
