Job summary

Ameriprise Financial has a global Technology team delivering solutions to support clients, advisors and employees. As a Technology Intern, you are assigned to a specific Technology team for the 10-week summer internship.

Teams include Analytics & Automation, End User Computing, Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering (DevSecOps), Data Warehouse & Analytics, Information Security Tools. During the summer, you’ll gain hands-on experience with Ameriprise tools and technologies, connect with other

Qualifications

Current junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, Information Technology Infrastructure, or related technical field.
Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
Interested in gaining broad experience in Technology.
Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively.
Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Define business requirements
Develop, document, test, and modify new or existing code
Develop working knowledge of Ameriprise systems, processes, data, and vendor tools
Learn and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to the software development life cycle
Learn new programming languages
Identify opportunities for process improvement or automation
Participate in Agile team ceremonies
