Job summary

AIG Summer Intern in Information Technology offers hands-on experience across architecture, data modeling, cybersecurity, and software engineering within a global insurance leader. You will collaborate with technology professionals, gain exposure to enterprise initiatives, and participate in masterclasses and mentoring that enrich your skills.

The 9-week program runs June 7–August 6, 2027, requiring in‑person work at least four days per week and prior internship experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree to be received no later than June 2028 (unofficial transcript required upon application).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Architecture: Support the development of enterprise and domain architecture roadmaps and requirements aligned with technology strategy and standards.
• Business Partnership: Collaborate across business and Technology teams to gather requirements and support solutions aligned with business priorities.
• Data: Gather, analyze, and model data to generate insights and support informed business decisions.
• Cybersecurity: Help develop and support solutions that protect AIG’s systems, applications, data, and stakeholders from cybersecurity threats.
• Engineering: Contribute to software or systems engineering initiatives, including application development, automation, cloud, network, and infrastructure solutions.
• Technology Business & Project Management: Support project and program execution, strategic operations, and business management initiatives across Technology.
• Technology Risk & Controls: Assist with identifying, assessing, and managing technology risks and controls in alignment with regulatory and business requirements.
