Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC offers a 10-week Summer Internship Program that pairs you with a technology team to tackle real, high-impact work while gaining a firm-wide view of how a global multi-strategy hedge fund operates.

You’ll collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts and engineers on data ingestion, modelling and performance, participate in a trading simulation, and present your work to senior leaders at program end.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a STEM degree as part of your academic path.
• Strong programming foundation and willingness to learn complex systems.
• Interest in finance and hedge funds is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Data ingestion, high-performance processing, modelling, portfolio and risk management, live execution and post-trade analysis.
• Contribute to strategic projects that extend beyond your day-to-day team responsibilities.
• Compete in a trading simulation with the intern class to build foundational markets knowledge.
• Present your work and ideas at various points throughout the program.
