Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC is offering a 10-week Summer Internship Program that pairs you with a platform team for real, high-impact work at a global hedge fund. You'll collaborate on cross-functional projects, build real-time dashboards, leverage AI tools, and present your work to senior leaders at the program's end.

Mentorship from dedicated professionals and exposure to multiple groups such as Data, Operations, and Technology will support your growth throughout the summer.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in finance, economics, applied mathematics, statistics, business, computer science, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Ability to be collaborative in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Interest in hedge funds/financial services and familiarity with ML/AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Placed on one of the teams (Data, Accounting & Finance, Operations, Risk, Tech, etc.) and contribute to project work.
• Automate processes, build real-time dashboards and tools, and drive operational efficiency.
• Contribute to strategic projects beyond day-to-day responsibilities.
• Leverage AI tools to contribute meaningful work from day one.
• Present work and ideas to senior leaders during the program.
