Job summary

CENTRAL OREGON COMMUNITY CLG is seeking mentors for the Summer Symposium at the Bend campus. The role focuses on supervising high school students during a 5-day program, guiding participation, and promoting leadership and teamwork.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and demonstrated leadership abilities, plus proficiency with MS Office tools and strong communication skills in English. The position is temporary and on campus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of working effectively within diverse communities.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech in English.
• Experience using email, Internet, word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during the Summer Symposium, ensuring engagement and leadership development.
• Participate in or lead all activities and provide guidance to students.
• Assist Coordinators with logistics: check in/out, materials, registrations, confirmations, etc.
