Job summary

Butterball, LLC invites motivated students to join a 10–12 week Supply Chain Internship at Mount Olive, NC. You will support MES-based projects, help optimize product flow and participate in SAP S/4HANA system activities across production sites.

This hands-on program aims to grow future leaders in manufacturing and supply chain. The role requires pursuing a degree in SCM/Logistics/Industrial Engineering, a valid driver’s license, strong PC/MS Office skills and travel readiness.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Proficiency with PC-based applications (MS Office).
• Analytical, programming and tool-building skills using Excel (Power Query, Macros).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of inventory, production, transportation or material planning preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.
• Willingness to travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Projects: support a plant production project around MES (Management Excellence Systems).
• Develop, refine and execute models to create a flow of product meeting demand.
• Assist with design, documentation, implementation, enhancements, support and training of the S4 Hana system at production sites.
