Aker BP invites you to a summer internship offering 6-8 weeks of hands-on experience within a relevant field. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, expand your professional network, and connect with fellow summer interns through social and professional activities.

You will join a department responsible for analysis and drilling or well engineering tasks, with tasks like checking reference wells or analyzing barrier diagrams to identify leak points.

Qualifications

  • Master student in Petroleum or Mechanical engineering, in your 3rd or 4th year.
  • Interest in drilling and wells with knowledge about the subsurface.
  • Working proficiency in English and/or Norwegian, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in analysis and drilling or well engineering tasks.
  • Check reference wells or analyze a barrier diagram to identify possible leak points and barrier weaknesses.
