Job summary

Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking outstanding engineering students for a summer internship in our Structural Engineering Group at the Bentonville, AR office. Interns will focus on new building design, with opportunities in BIM, site visits, and technical research.

Typical tasks include engineering calculations, developing drawings, and supporting internal projects. Projects are primarily in Arkansas with nationwide client support, offering mentorship and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil or Architectural Engineering, at least junior level.
• U.S. work eligibility without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Based in or able to work in Bentonville, AR.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Completes simple engineering calculations and models.
• Prepares presentations for internal and client use.
• Performs research and special studies as needed.
• Data entry and support for internal projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
