Job summary

Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking outstanding engineering students to join our Structural Engineering Group as summer interns at our Kansas City, MO office.

This internship focuses on new building structural design, with opportunities to gain experience in BIM, technical research, and renovation of existing buildings. During a typical week, interns perform engineering calculations, develop drawings, visit sites, and support internal projects, working in a professional office environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Architectural Engineering and at least a junior-level program.
• High school diploma
• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to commute to the internship location (Kansas City, MO)
• Ability to work in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Attention to detail
• Eager to learn
• Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
