Job summary

Martin/Martin, Inc. is seeking outstanding engineering students to join our Structural Engineering Group as summer interns in our Denver, CO office.

The internship focuses on new building structural design, with opportunities to gain experience in BIM, technical research, renovations, and related internal projects. During a typical week, interns perform engineering calculations, develop drawings, visit sites, work with BIM, and support internal technical initiatives within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, with at least junior status.
• High school diploma.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to commute to Denver, CO for the internship location.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes simple engineering calculations and models.
• Prepares presentations.
• Performs research and special studies.
• Data entry.
• Other duties as assigned.
