Job summary

KPFF Special Projects Group in Long Beach, CA seeks a Civil Engineering student for a summer Structural Engineering Internship. The role is ~40 hours/week for up to 90 days, with duties across design, calculations, plan production, site visits, and cost estimating.

You'll work alongside engineers on civil, waterfront, and transportation projects across the US, gaining hands-on experience in a team-driven, safety-conscious environment and exposure to multi-disciplinary challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering.
• Willingness to work on a variety of projects, including site visits.

Responsibilities

• Assist a structural engineer with calculations, plan production, review, and cost estimating.
• Assist with project site visits and comply with safety requirements on site and in the office.
