Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Structural (Buildings) Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support our Building and Facility Structures Group in design and analysis of non-bridge structures in our New York City, NY office.

The internship provides hands-on experience on public and private buildings, structural evaluations, repairs, upgrades and related facilities, with guidance from experienced professionals. Proficiency with REVIT and AutoCAD is valued.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural focus).
• Exposure to Civil/Structural engineering design and working in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to assist with calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist on projects including buildings, structural evaluations, repairs, upgrades.
• Contribute to calculations, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Support in design and analysis for various building structures in NYC.
