Job summary

GPC, a family-owned beverage distributor, is hiring a Summer Special Events Delivery Driver in Rochester, MN. You will safely deliver and set up equipment at events, driving a company pickup and loading gear for each assignment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the willingness to work a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience towing a trailer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive company pickup to deliver and retrieve equipment and trailers.
• Ensure deliveries meet company standards.
• Safely operate a forklift or pallet jack to load orders for events.
• Unload and return unused products to the warehouse after events.
• Be the face of GPC by delivering excellent service and building relationships with customer accounts.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe delivery and professional setup of GPC equipment and trailers at special events. Be part of a team that brings events to life—and delivers excitement every step of the way!

Work Schedule

• Monday- Friday
• 8:00AM- 4:00PM
• Seasonal position starting at the end of May through the beginning of September.

“A day in the life of a Summer Special Events Delivery Driver looks like:”

• Drive a company pickup truck to deliver and retrieve equipment and trailers to event locations.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently and meet company standards.
• Safely operate a forklift or pallet jack to pick and load orders for upcoming events.
• Unload and return unused products to the correct warehouse location after the event.
• “Be the Face” of GPC by providing excellent service and building strong relationships with customer accounts.

What does it take to be a Summer Special Events Delivery Driver?

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED
• Experience towing a trailer preferred
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
