Job summary

SRC, Inc. is seeking Summer 2027 Software Engineering Interns for Dayton, OH or Syracuse, NY to design, develop and test radar and communications technologies and more.

Interns will work on desktop and web interfaces, data visualization tools, and data processing frameworks within cross-functional teams. You'll gain hands-on experience with languages including C++, Java, Python, JavaScript and MATLAB while contributing to national defense and intelligence projects.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of college in computer science, computer engineering or software engineering.
• GPA 3.3 or higher; unofficial transcripts acceptable.
• Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week.
• Experience coding in C++, Java, Python, JavaScript or MATLAB.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain mission-critical software for defense, environment and intelligence products.
• Document and communicate software solutions across cross-functional teams.
• Stay up to date on state-of-the-art programming techniques and software technologies.
• Participate in software design and code reviews to ensure quality.
