Job summary

SRC, Inc. is seeking summer 2027 Software Engineering Interns for Dayton, OH or Syracuse, NY to design, develop and test radar, communications technologies and related software.

We offer desktop and web interfaces, data visualization tools and data processing frameworks across fielded and prototype systems. You will join design teams to solve challenging technical problems, document proposed software solutions, and stay up to date with state-of-the-art programming techniques.

Qualifications

• GPA minimum 3.3; transcripts required (unofficial acceptable)
• 40 hours/week availability
• Experience in programming languages listed (C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, MATLAB)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain mission-critical software for defense and related domains
• Document and communicate software solutions with cross-functional teams
• Stay up to date on modern programming techniques and tools
• Participate in software design and code reviews to ensure quality
• Contribute to R&D efforts that drive innovation
