Job summary

AllianceBernstein in Nashville invites a Summer Software Development Intern to work within the Technology & Operations team. You will learn, implement, and apply a broad range of languages and frameworks while collaborating with analysts, managers, and other developers.

Interns will contribute to projects on investment management systems, sales and distribution tools, and process automation, gaining hands-on experience in a global investment firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering/math/finance/economics/business/liberal arts
• GPA 3.3 or better required to apply
• US citizen or permanent resident; able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Available to work full-time from June through August 2027
• Background check will be required
• Cannot take classes or hold other employment during the internship
• Interest in project management, capturing requirements, use cases, UI design and testing scenarios
• Interest in Java applications, C++ servers, and web services
• Strong programming skills expected
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
