Job summary

SAS is offering a Summer 2027 Software Development and Testing Internship in Cary, NC. You’ll contribute to real projects, work across front-end, back-end, and testing domains, and be mentored by leaders in analytics software.

As an intern, you’ll join a collaborative, inclusive culture with a focus on growth, hands-on learning, and meaningful work from day one. Applications open in autumn and internship runs for 12 weeks in 2027.

Qualifications

• You’re an undergraduate college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating before December 2027.
• Currently pursuing undergraduate degree studying Computer Science, Software Development, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other related technical field.
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
• You’re interested in the future of analytics and embrace technology.

Responsibilities

• You’ll work on design and development of SAS software for new and existing products across business units.
• Roles may include front-end, back-end, full-stack development, and/or testing.
• You’ll be aligned to a role based on your experiences and interests, with exposure to hiring managers across SAS.
