Job summary

Associated Recreation Council (ARC) and Seattle Parks and Recreation seek a Soccer Camp Instructor to lead youth futsal camps at Ballard Community Center in Seattle. You'll teach basic soccer skills, run drills, and supervise participants in a positive, inclusive environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with soccer coaching or youth program experience and the ability to manage groups in a fun, safety-minded way during a short-term summer program. Pay is $25–$26 per hour, with PSST benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience coaching soccer or youth sports programs.
• Experience working with children in a recreational or camp setting.
• Ability to manage groups in a positive and supportive manner.

Responsibilities

• Instruct participants in fundamental soccer skills
• Lead drills, skill-building activities, and scrimmages
• Supervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment
• Set up and break down equipment and activity areas
• Communicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisors
• Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and procedures
